Online security, the lamest kind of espionage ever, and some great ideas about design - Here are 10 things we felt were worth sharing this week!

1. We wrote a lot about online security and making it easier to protect yourself this week! Do yourself a favor, periodically check your accounts and make sure your passwords are nice and strong!

2. Speaking of weak passwords, did you know your personality might make you more likely to be hacked? There is some interesting psychology behind weak passwords and sloppy online habits that can make you a target. Interesting!

3. Of course, good online security hygiene can still be undermined by criminals like this Verizon employee who made a pretty penny selling sensitive customer data for more than five years before being caught. Yikes.

4. More bad news for Samsung. First exploding phones, now they're in hot water for exploding washing machines. You know, maybe Samsung missed its true calling as a grenade manufacturer.

5. I for one welcome our new mechanical puppy overlords

6. Here's a weird one. You know that obnoxious troll you were arguing with the other day? There's a chance you were arguing with a paid propagandist from Russia's network of "troll houses." Remember when espionage was all nuclear codes and umbrella assassinations instead of stinking up YouTube comments?

7. Up for some not-so-light reading? Forbes released a fun list of 20 new design and art books to read before 2017

8. If that's not enough to sate your appetite for design, you can always  check out the Obsessed With Design podcast, a weekly interview show with some of the biggest current names in the business.

9. Ever wonder what exactly Facebook knows about you? You might be surprised. ProPublica does an excellent job of breaking it all down.

10. Not going to lie, I really want this adorably miniaturized NES
