A few years back I hired a "freelancer" to create a tea website, the cost was quite reasonable however the service provider was located in India and once the job was completed I spent a few days looking through the site for bugs and at the time did not find any.

So long story short I released the payment and the very next day discovered the shopping cart did not work, I could add products but the minute I edited them they disappeared.. So I had to go back and ask the "freelancer" to fix it, but now it cost extra..

Needless to say the entire project sunk because I kept running into minor problems and each time I was charged ridiculous fees to get them fixed until I just gave up.
